Q. Can I give you a design I might want, and have you hand knit a shrug with that pattern?
A. We can hand knit a shrug with different designs. It would depend on the complexity of the pattern.

Q. What materials do you use in knitting the shrugs?
A. We use acrylics, acrylic blends, wool, mohair, nylon blends, chenille yarns.

Q. Are these shrugs guaranteed in any way?
A. They are guaranteed hand-knitted, and made of the material in the description of each particular shrug.

Q. What is your return policy?
A. Once the shrug is received, you have one week to decide if you want to return it. At that time a contact should be made to us, telling us why you want to return the shrug. Then you will have the opportunity to order a different shrug.

Q. What is your refund policy?
A. We have a NO REFUND policy. You can exchange, but there is no refund.

Q. Are all the shrugs REALLY hand-knitted?
A. Yes, they really are hand knitted shrugs.

Q. How many knitters do you have?
A. At the moment, we have four knitters, but if the demand warrants it, we have others who are available.

Q. How do you clean the shrugs?
A. In almost all instances, the shrugs can be hand washed in warm water and dried flat.

Q. If I want a RUSH shipment, can you provide it?
A. You can call us at our toll free number and we can arrange whatever kind of shipment you want.

Q. Do you have any stores in my area?
A. Actually, we do not have any stores anywhere.

Q. Would a distributor have a different price than you show on the site?
A. Anyone who wishes to be a distributor could call us on our toll free number and we will make arrangements.

Q. Where is your home base?
A. Strangely enough, it is in Orlando, Florida USA.

Q. How did you decide on what sizes of shrugs fit whom?
A. Well, we tried the shrugs on our people, and learned that the distance between two wrists, with arms spread wide, was the same as the height of the person. When the shrugs were tried on, the length of the shrug that matched the height of the person was the closest fit shrug. Some people like them looser, some tighter, but we sort of made it an average.

Q. Why are these shrugs called "A Hug From Blanche"?
A. Well, the owner's name is Blanche, and when her friends put on the shrugs, they said they just felt like a Hug.
